my advice would be to seek advice from a lawyer: these are corner cases,
and only a lawyer can tell you what is acceptable or not. However:
* does your customer have to distribute the plugin? As you know, GPL
does not require it. If it's for internal use. then you have no
licencing issues
* we generally accept this kind of things up to a point, but I do not
think anybody here is particularly excited nor positive about this - I
personally tend to see this as stretching the licence to its limits, for
personal convenience.
