[QGIS-Developer] Is it possible to mix qml widgets into QGIS/plugins?

Hi,

Working with Time Ranges, I often wanted a 'double slider', now I found
this one:

And was wondering if it would be possible to use that slider in for
example a dock-widget or a plugin or in ‘Layer Tree embedded widgets’ [0]
Anybody an example of mixing qml with QGIS? I'm aware of creating a full
ui with QML, but if anybody has pointers for 'mixins', please let us know.
