Hi Paolo,

i wrote a python script to check the qgis 2.18 repository and found 28
plugins which contain a __macosx folder:

AzimuthDistanceCalculator.1.1.2.zip
GeoHealth.1.0.1.zip
irods_qgis.3.2.zip
QgisGeoJSONExportPlugin.0.2.0.zip
vTool.0.2.zip
GridZoneGenerator.1.3.zip
qgis-mongodb-loader.1.4.0.zip
qgis-amigocloud-plugin.0.6.2.zip
pandora.2.0.1.zip
Submission.0.4.zip
mole.0.998k.zip
EmergencyMapper.0.0.1.zip
JapanElevation.1.0.zip
ZebToolbox.0.3.1.zip
PointToPolygon.1.0.zip
pgChainage.1.1.0.zip
geohey_toolbox.0.3.zip
pdokbaggeocoder.0.6.4.zip
pyarchinit.0.1.6.1.zip
geobricks_qgis_plugin_trmm.0.2.zip
geobricks_qgis_plugin_world_bank.0.1.zip
geobricks_qgis_plugin_faostat.0.5.zip
qgisgbifapi.0.2.0.zip
HotspotAnalysis.0.5.zip
SleuthInputs.0.3.zip
PointToPolygon.0.6.zip
EasyTemplatePrint.0.1.zip
envifate.0.1.zip

In order to cause less traffic and have a better performance it would be
much better to run the script on the server where the plugin zipfiles are
located.

regards,
Thomas
