[QGIS-Developer] Recent rendering changes that might affect TimeManager

Hi,

Users of TimeManager are reporting rendering issues which affect 3.4 and
3.6 but didn't appear in QGIS 2.18:

I'd appreciate any pointers to potentially relevant changes and
recommendations on how to handle them.
