[QGIS-Developer] what does geos geoprocessing error difference failed mean?

Hi Shane,

Likely it means that there is a problem with your geometry/topology.  I 
don't have your version locally, but look for a QGIS menu item of "Check 
Validity" or "Fix Geometries".
