[QGIS-Developer] "convex envelope" obsolete?

Hello everyone,

it may be that the "convex hull" function is out of date. With me it throws errors (in 3.4 at win, 3.14 at win, 3.14 at mac). In the new collection "Minimal Limiting Geometry" the convex hull works perfectly. Can the old function get out then?
