Also, using ccache helps if you are rebuilding (e.g. because a dependency was
updated).

However, I notice that on upgrade from 3.34.x to 3.34.x+1 it seems there
are no hits.  I don't know if that's because every .c includes,
eventually, a .h with the version, but it would be nice if there weren't
cache misses when there don't need to be.
