[QGIS-Developer] 2025 grant proposal discussion phase is ending

Hello,
Thanks for your work, as usual very useful to drive the project dynamic.
I realize that I totally missed out that every previous QEP for grant
proposal have been closed following the workflow change and so ignored
on this round :(.
Taking a closer look for the occasion, I find that this new QEP
operation implies a higher technical level. If it corresponds well to
the evolution of the technical project and responds well (I guess) to
the needs of developers, I think that it distances even more than before
from fact proposals other than purely technical. Particularly those
eligible for grants.
To what extent could we imagine a different workflow for grants than for
technical evolutions? Could we use the OSGeo pretalx instance used for
conference submissions at events? There's an integrated voting system.
