[QGIS-Developer] Missing Functions from QGIS 3.34 in LTR 3.40 (Win10)

Hi Christoph,

The old Text annotation was replaced with either "Text annotation in
rectangle" or "Text annotation at point" or "Text annotation along line".
The new annotations do everything that the old annotation did, and better.
The icons are to the left of the screenshot you provide.

Do you miss something?
