Dear QGIS Community,
This is to let you know that the form for grant applications is now
closed and that we have received 6 complete applications totaling €
48,510. (For comparison, the grant programme budget is € 50,000.)
As a quick teaser, here are the proposals:
1. Trusted Projects and Folders –
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/336
2. Port SQL Query History to Browser –
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/332
3. Adding screenshots to PyQGIS documentation –
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/333
4. QGIS (and dependencies) Coverity Scan Cleanup –
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/337
5. SIP Incremental Builds –
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/338
6. Adopt WebAssembly as an official build target of QGIS –
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/335
We are now in the QEP discussion phase. You may find all proposals with
the Grant-2025 tag:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/issues?q=label%3AGrant-2025+
The QEP discussion phase takes two weeks and ends on Wednesday,
2025-04-09. Afterwards, we will proceed to writing discussion summaries
(by 2025-04-16). Since the total requested budget is below the available
budget, there is no need for voting this year.
Thank you to everyone who submitted project proposals!
Regards,
Anita
