[QGIS-Developer] 3.44 keeps asking for CRS Transformation every time???

Hi Jochen,
I've seen this on too many places now.
Last week I created a Virtual Windows11 machine, installed 3.40.12 on it, and this project still keeps asking for transformation...
BUT now I see that after the CRS Transformation questions, the project crs (right corner) shows No CRS....
I really do not know how I ended up here. But I've seen this a couple of times now around me too.
So apparently a project can at a certain moment end up as a 'No CRS' project, and THEN this popup popping starts ?
If I now set the project crs again, the popups disappear.
But then I think the question is how people (it's not only my project files) end up here? And should QGIS not put a crs on a project after choosing a CRS Transformation for the layer? Or warn the user?
Or just do not ask for the transformation if there is NO project crs?
Regards,
Richard Duivenvoorde
