Hello everyone, dear QGIS Dev community,
I have a question/request:
Would it be possible for you to create/rename the QGIS packages compiled for Mac so that the version number is included in the filename, rather than leaving them neutral? So instead of the generic https://download.qgis.org/downloads/macos/qgis-macos-pr.dmg, could you provide something like https://download.qgis.org/downloads/macos/qgis-macos-pr_4_0_0.dmg or similar? I’d like to see the same for the LTR versions too. Otherwise, we Mac users are always unsure which package we’re actually downloading, and after 1.5 GB, we realise, oops, I already had this version.
Thank you for your efforts; I’m counting on you and look forward to it.
Best regards, mikeE. (#geoObserver)
