Hi Valentin,

Firstly sorry for the late reply, I was finishing up my end semester exams
and couldnt reply until now.

Thank you for the kind words, it genuinely helps. And you are right that
the work was not wasted. I did come out of this understanding the QGIS
codebase and contribution process a lot better than when I started, and
that is valuable regardless of the outcome.

The plugin idea caught my attention. I am curious to know more about what
you had in mind, would it essentially be the same JSON toolkit algorithms
but packaged as a plugin rather than contributed directly to core? I am
asking because I want to understand whether this would be more of a
personal learning project or something that could eventually feed back into
the QGIS ecosystem in some way. Either way I am open to it, just want to
understand the direction better before diving in.
