[QGIS-Developer] QGIS 4.4 - Coordinating efforts to unblock the next LTR

Hi all,

We’ve created a QGIS 4.4 project on GitHub [1] to help us track, 
prioritise, and resolve the issues blocking the next LTR release.

We’re starting with 136 open issues and 14 already in progress. Let’s 
focus our efforts on getting these issues resolved and the next LTR 
ready for release.

Newly reported issues will be automatically added to the backlog if they 
match the following criteria:

is:issue is:open label:Regression,"QGIS 4","LTR blocker","High Priority"

How we’ll work together:

     Triage: Everyone is encouraged to review the issues. Once an issue 
has been triaged, move it to the Ready column and assign a priority: 
Critical, High, Medium, or Low.
     Development: Developers willing to contribute should pick issues 
from the Ready column.
     In progress: Once a PR is linked to an issue, it will move to the 
In progress column.
     Done: Once the PR is merged, the issue will be closed and moved to 
the Done column.

Please use the project to help us coordinate our efforts, identify 
priorities, and keep track of progress. The more we can focus on this 
shared list, the sooner we can clear the blockers for the next LTR.
