Oliver
Hi Jürgen,
thank you for the clarification.
We use QGIS together with a plugin for noise propagation calculations. Our corporate IT requires a migration to at least Python 3.13, preferably Python 3.14, in the medium term. In addition, the currently used runtime is already being flagged by Microsoft Defender. If the application can no longer be approved for use because of this, a significant part of our daily work would be affected.
Switching to another software solution is not a realistic short-term option, as we have only recently migrated to this system.
You mentioned sponsored development. Who would be the appropriate contact for this, or who would be able to implement Python 3.14 support for OSGeo4W/QGIS?
Thank you very much and best regards,
Oliver

Not sure what qualifies as official windows build, but OSGeo4W and the MSI that is created from it's packages don't have Python 3.14 yet.

yes, and outlining why this is a urgent necessity could also help.
