[Qgis-psc] sharing QGIS development costs

Hi,

I would like to talk about sharing costs of QGIS developments.

I know this already happens (more or less scattered) in the background but I
wonder if it would make sense to make it more transparent, put it on a larger
platform at qgis.org, so people get an overwiev and the chance to
participate / influence and share the costs for a particular developement
more easily?

Maybe a simple, well promoted website with the development tasks, a
description and a contact address for further information would be enough in
the beginning or maybe something else? 

What do you think?
