Hi Martin,
In QGIS Indonesia we have several channels:
1. Telegram, the most active one, and the discussion are healthy. There are
some spammers, but adding a bot really helps.
2. Facebook group. There is one official (from QGIS ID), and there are some
unofficial. One of them even has ~4800 members. The contents mostly are
people sharing their YouTube/blog tutorials, selling course, data,
software, etc. But, there are some good discussions also (1 in 20 probably).
3. Twitter and Instagram, mostly for sharing events or news but sometimes
people contact us from these two channels. Surprisingly, Instagram has a
better "reach" compared to Twitter in our case. We even make a mapping
competition through Instagram.
4. Mailing list. Not working at all here :D
5. WhatsApp is not enough for us
6. YouTube, we do some talk and tutorial about QGIS from our community. I
think we also use Facebook Live for streaming.
Best Regards
