a "lower tier" for what? Donations can already be made at any amount
through 3 payment options (wire transfer, stripe and paypal).
Are you refering to having a lower tier towards a specific target? (bug
fix or feature request?) If yes, I don't think that Github provides this
so far, unless we create some additional infrastructure around it
(Marco, please correct me if I am wrong, it would be great if Github
could offer a crowd funding platform).
