Hi list,
Does anyone know anything about this grant which was funded by NASA last
October?
From
https://www.nasa.gov/news-release/nasa-funds-open-source-software-underpinning-scientific-innovation
:
United States Geological Survey, Reston, Virginia
Principal investigator: Trent Hare
“Planetary Updates for QGIS,” one-year award
I've been recently working with non-earth bodies as part of the Cesium
funded work on the new QGIS 3d globe view, and I'm very interested to hear
what this grant is for and what potential improvements are coming to QGIS
as a result of it. But I'm struggling to find ANY information beyond that
initial press release!
Has anyone got any further information about this?
Nyall
