Comment (by Coatman):
The original QGIS properly displayed JPEG2000 images with Kakadu and with
Jasper. This was fantastic. Since an update, QGIS no longer properly
displays JPEG2000 images with Kakadu nor with Jasper. This is not because
of a bug in Kakadu. And since Ubuntu exhibits the same problem, this is
not because of a bug in Mac OS X. My web page
http://homepage.mac.com/gregcoats/jp2.html shows that QGIS displays JP2
images with the correct number of columns, and the correct number of rows.
Only the colors are improperly displayed. I have waited 9 months, and I
have offered to donate $2,500.00 for a version of QGIS that displays JP2
images. Will someone please inform me when I can anticipate having a
version of QGIS that again displays JP2 images with the proper colors?
