Perhaps being more specific will help.
As an aid to narrowly focusing this problem, I am making available as a
free download from http://homepage.mac.com/gregcoats/jp2.html an 800x100
pixel and a 313x313 pixel .jp2 files showing GeoJPEG2000 images properly
georeferenced, and displayed with the proper number of columns, and the
proper number of rows, but with the colors altered, as though they are
being run through a Color Look Up Table, that are easily visually compared
with these same images as .tif files that are properly displayed GeoTIFF
images, alone with a reference, non-georeferenced, .png file.
