 Hi Homann,

 If I remove "+datum" from B) the result is the same described earlier in
 this ticket (see attached files, one defined with +towgs, the other
 without but also without +datum): the two layer align correctly with OTFR
 "on" and with certain crs defined for the project. The difference between
 aligning or not seems to depend if in the project crs are defined the
 +towgs/+datum/+ellps parameter(s). For example they align if the project
 has epsg 3003 but not if the project has epsg 4326.
