Comment:

 I have made a test with both the 1.0 and the 1.0.1 (installed using the
 official repository) under Ubuntu 8.10 and with grass 6.3 installed trough
 the Jachym repository: I have no problems using sample vectors from the
 Spearfish sample dataset and from the North Carolina sample dataset.
