 Doing a simple:

 dtm_interp4 at 1 - dtm_clip at 1
 }}}

 consistently throws an error:

          GDAL Error 2: CPLMalloc(): Out of memory allocating -1024 bytes.
 }}}
 bringing down QGIS.
