[Qgis-user] Error at building from svn code

I was building accoding to
http://wiki.qgis.org/qgiswiki/BuildingFromSource#head-8e1e1ff25b5e9f587393e0592c0ff34891ec07cc

and after
ccmake ..

I got:

[ 22%] Building CXX object 
src/core/CMakeFiles/qgis_core.dir/spatialindex/rtree/Statistics.o
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `/usr/lib/libgdal1.4.0.so', needed 
by `src/core/libqgis_core.so.0.11'.  Stop.
make[1]: *** [src/core/CMakeFiles/qgis_core.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

how can i fix this?

(btw, is there any place with a brief and clear explanation of
what I'm doing when I run these commands? I just have an
approximate idea of what svn... means)
