In the few seminars I've done, my lesson #1 is "Adding Basic Plugins". 
With the new plugin installer, beginners have to scroll thru the long - 
and ever growing- list of plugins (which, of course is a good thing!) to 
find and add one or two additional basic tools. I'd just as soon have 
fTools available by default, like Delimited Text, SPIT, etc.
