[Qgis-user] postgres connection

hi

Using qgis 1.0 on mac book pro OSX

I already tested connection to localhost on port 5432 with earlier  
version of qgis

Now when I test the same connection  I get this answer:

I tried to create new connections unsuccessfuly.

Do I need to eliminate old connections? Howto ?
