[Qgis-user] Numerical Vertex Edit and QtSql

Cedric,
I've tried to install the Numerical Vertex Edit plugin
(QGIS 1.00 from binary for ubuntu8.04) and get the message:
"The plugin depends on some components missing on your system. You need 
to install the following Python module in order to enable it: QtSql"

despite the fact that, according to Synaptic I do have
libqt4-sql
python-qt4

what else is missing on my system?
