For me I prefer the current arrangement - 2 toolbars. The user can elect
to hide & show one if he likes. Pull down toolbar icons are IMHO very
unintuitive and require two clicks to get at every function (may as well
use a menu then). Its great that we are adding advanced features but we
should remember our 'roots' in being an easy to learn, easy to use GIS.
Part of that is achieved through keeping UI complexity to a minimum.
