Wow. So, you are blaming a user, because Qgis 1.4.0 was shipped, when it never should have been released.

What you call "my problem" is that working / fixed /useful Qgis executables are still not available to the Qgis this member of the community. And isn't it interesting that no one can pint to when and where these non-exisiting executables can be downloaded.
