[Qgis-user] Layer name not readable in layer panel

Hi everybody,
In qgis 1.6.0 standalone installer, windows 7 (64bit) now I'm not able
to see the name of layers in layer panel: the layer tree is present,
and also the layer labels, but it seems like that the row for the
layer name is rendered as high as the layer panel height and no name
is printed out neither the checkbox for show/hide layer. (see
attachments with 1 layer loaded)
I'm not sure on when it happened, maybe after installing some plugin
postgis related but uninstalling them all didn't solve.
Is this a known issue? Is there any solution without update to the
OSgeo Installer? If not I will solve reinstalling qgis.
Thanks
amedeo fadini
