[Qgis-user] Qgis and m-values or 4 dimensions in postgis

Dear list,

When I try to save a 4 dimensional multilinestring into postgis after
editing some nodes I get the error:

"ERROR:  new row for relation "mydata" violates check constraint
"enforce_dims_the_geom"

when I remove the constraint is saves the multilinestring in 2
dimensions (I lose the Z and M-values).
It appears Qgis drops the M and Z values from the geometries.

Does anyone know if it is possible to edit 4 dimensional data in
postgis from Qgis and if so, how to do this? I can't seem to find any
old posts on this.
