[Qgis-user] detailed how to for GPS Live Tracking Tool

Hi,

I'm trying out the GPS Live Tracking Tool, so far the detailed
information I found are in the manual and

I plugged the etrex venture hc via USB and running gpsbabel, it seems
to output nmea strings.

However, I'm having difficulties connecting to gpsd and qgis' gps live
tracking tool.

Specs:
gps: etrex venture hc connected via USB
ubuntu 10.04
qgis 1.6
