So I got it [SOLVED] for my system(s)!

I checked python and the proper version was installed.

The problem was what Sascha had pointed out with my Qt and KDE version.

I then did a fresh install of OpenSUSE 12.1 x64 on my laptop and just did
regular upgrades without upgrading to KDE 4.8.

So therefore, I will NOT UPGRADE to KDE 4.8!

Everything is working fine now. Thanks for pointing this out.
