[Qgis-user] Extract lat/long from point shapefile?

How do I know if they're in lat/long projection? In the bottom-right of the
window it says EPSG:4326. When I used the "Export/add geometry columns"
tool, the numbers that were created are way too high to be lat/long
coordinates. Any thoughts?
