As far as I'm seeing, the database that has to be entered in the New Connection panel of SPIT must have been previously defined. I did so using createdb following directions in the book by G. Sherman, but I wonder if there is a way for defining the database from within QGIS before using SPIT/New Connection Thanks, Agus
