[Qgis-user] QGIS Master and Rasters to grayscale

Hi James,

I'd imagine that the effect you're after would be achieved by changing the Contrast Enhancement to one of the stretches, and loading done values. 

If this is what you're after, there's some settings (Settings->Options Rendering Rasters) that sets default behaviour. 

There was discussion on the -dev list about loading time penalties if you have very large raster and set the default to anything other than off.
