[Qgis-user] Issues with ubuntu install

Hi guys,

I'm having issues with installing qgis on ubuntu 12.04. I had qgis 1.7
running, and tried to upgrade to 1.9 but it looks like I broke something.
These are the errors I get when I run apt-get update

installArchives() failed: Setting up qgis-providers-common
(1.9.0+git20121014+2754df0~precise1) ...
/usr/lib/qgis/crssync: error while loading shared libraries:
libgeos-3.3.3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing qgis-providers-common (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status

No apport report written because MaxReports is reached already
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of qgis-providers:
 qgis-providers depends on qgis-providers-common (=
