[Qgis-user] Installing multivariate plug-in error

Dear QGIS list:

I have been trying to install the ..Multivariate Plug-in for QGIS - it loads but does not initiate due to stated need for PyQt4.Qwt5 package(s) - after much frustration, I succeeded (seemingly) in installing the package: PyQwt and all its dependencies using 'brew install' - however, I still get the same error when installing the Plug-In - any advice? - Is this a Path or conflict issue?
