[Qgis-user] Activating Label Tools

Step 1. Turn on Labels
Step 2. In the Data Defined Settings Tab, Select Columns in your table
to store X position, Y position and Rotation
Step 3. Enable editing on the layer

Those steps work for me on QGIS 1.8
