[Qgis-user] Assign value for polygon layers based on nearby value of point features

Dear QGIS Users,

Good Day!

I have a regularly spaced polygon layer for a country, and a point layer
with precipitation values. I want to assign the value of the precipitation
point layer to the nearest polygon grids.

Any advice will be very helpful.
