Hello,

Could you please give us a bit more information about what do you mean by
working with coordinates?

All information about how to work with projections in QGIS is in this

To open a CSV file where coordinates columns exist, please look at this
section of the user manual:

Also, to specify data types of csv columns, take a look to this post by
