[Qgis-user] Large raster datasets in 2.0

Jonathan,

The final builds for 2.0 will ship with ECW and JP2 support.

For a work around until 2.0 ships you can use this guide
http://www.faunalia.com/content/adding-ecw-support-quantum-gis

Just a side note: We ARE able to ship the the ECW libs with our builds
unlike what blog post says or anyone says otherwise.  This has all been
cleared with the ECW product manager from Intergraph.
