[Qgis-user] How to open DEM file?

Dear QGIS list,

I am a new bee of GIS including QGIS. I am trying to read (open) DEM file of Southeast Queensland which is obtained from the State government. The DEM zip file contains the following files. I have tried "add vector layer" and "add raster layer" from "Layer" command, but these files could not be opened with these commands.
