[Qgis-user] vector and raster layers

The same CRS for both layers-
Try to zoom to extend.

Hello list.
I need to open a raster map together with a shapefile.   Qgis opens both of them but I can only view each one separately.   I must be doing something wrong, or forgetting to do something.   Anyone got any ideas?    Thank you in advance.
