[Qgis-user] problems with coordenates of shapes

Hello People out there! Wish you are all doing great
I am new user on QUANTUM  and also sort of new to gis which I have used to
mainly field research data plotting. Trying to inser several shape files
within for example, Sao Paulo State in Brazil, the points show in four five
places and I have trying to use a standard SRC for all but it not working
things get seveely misplaced. I know this is a basic issue but would
appreciate the support to solve it as it seems basic but after two full
days trying I am about to give up  and any input would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you very much,
