[Qgis-user] QGIS Crashes

Hello Everyone!
I'm using Qgis 1.8 on Windows 7. While importing an external module from
Qgis python console the Qgis crashes each time.
P.S: I add that path in which my module resides by sys.path and then import
it.
Urgent help needed
