[Qgis-user] PROBLEMS WITH POSTGIS CONNECTION QGIS 1.8

Nafisa -

Does your hostname, databasename, database-username or -password contain 
non-US characters (!= a-z, 0-9) ? If so, you might have a problem with 
different character-sets in QGIS and your command-line.
