[Qgis-user] PROBLEMS WITH POSTGIS CONNECTION QGIS 1.8

The host and the user name are correct? Which application are you using in QGIS for access to the DB?

Hi,
Am having problem connecting postgis database in qgis. Anytime i  connect to the database I get the this error message " password authentication failed for user. However the same password is able to access the same database at the command-line.

I need help.
