[Qgis-user] Processing plugin upgrade problem

Deleting QGIS won't do anything, nothing directly installed will change, and installing plugins does not change anything in the QGIS.app. Deleting .qgis2 may help. .qgis is for QGIS 1.x and does not affect QGIS 2 at all, but it doesn't hurt to remove it to clean up. .grass* is not used by the GRASS bundled into QGIS. Deleting ~/Library/Preferences/org.qgis.qgis2.plist may help.
